The economic crisis, which aggravated the living conditions in Turkey, condemned the citizens to seek even cheaper bread.
 
While the application of hung bread in some bakeries has increased tremendously recently, at the same time, people are forming long queues at ‘Public Bread’ (Halk Ekmek) kiosks in order to buy bread at a slightly more affordable price.
 
This scene in the central Mezitli district of Mersin province revealed that the citizens are now in need of even bread.
