While a new price increase is added to the price increases in our country day by day, the increase in bread prices cannot be prevented. Bread, one of the basic consumer goods, has finally seen 5 Turkish Liras (TL). The 25 percent increase in 210 grams of bread in a single item revealed the depth of the economic crisis we are in.
IT HAS REACHED THE LEVEL OF 5 TL
The economic crisis, which is accepted by all segments of Turkey, continues to bend the back of the citizens. While the citizens wake up with a new price increase every day, the price increases do not bypass the basic foodstuffs. In this context, bread is one of the products whose value has increased gradually in recent months. While the price hikes for bread took a frightening dimension, the product in question finally reached the level of 5 TL.
NEW HIKE OVERLAPS ON HIKE
Bread, which was sold for 2,5 TL in November in Istanbul last year, increased to 3 TL with a hike in February, and it was 3,5 TL with a hike in March. After all the hikes, the price of bread was updated and started to be sold for 4 TL in June. When the calendars shows the middle of September, 210 grams of bread started to be sold for 5 TL.
