Cansuyu Aid and Solidarity Association rushed to the aid of the victims and the needy in Syria, the crisis region.
Cansuyu built 200 briquette houses for Syrians who are trying to live under harsh winter conditions, and provided thousands of oppressed people with a warm home.
The need for urgent humanitarian aid continues for people who have left their homes and continue their lives under difficult conditions as a result of the conflicts and massacres that have continued for many years in our border neighbor Syria.
The human tragedy in the camps continues, especially in these days when cold weather conditions are felt severely.
Cansuyu Association, which acts as a bridge between philanthropists and those in need, organized a large-scale aid organization to eliminate the victimization in the region.
200 BRICKET HOUSES BUILT
One of the biggest problems of the oppressed in Syria, which has experienced the coldest winter of recent years, is the problem of shelter.
Especially due to cold weather conditions, people are trying to hold on to life.
Cansuyu Association, that has previously established tent cities in the region and sheltered thousands of people, has completed the briquette houses that it has planned for more permanent solutions and which it has been building for a while in coordination with Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) and Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV), and put them into the service of the people of the region.
200 families struggle to survive in tents will settle in 200 houses built and completed on the area determined by AFAD in the Mukavveme camps in the Azez region.
1 MONTH OF FOOD SUPPLIED TO THOUSANDS OF SYRIANS
Apart from building houses in the region, it also provided food, clothing and heating aid. Cansuyu teams delivered food parcels, winter clothing, blankets, stationery and coal aids delivered to them from all over Turkey to thousands of oppressed people trying to survive in the Kefercenne region and Azez regions in the Afrin countryside.
“WE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT OUR SYRIAN BROTHERS UNINTERRUPTEDLY”
Mehmet Savaş, Ankara representative of the Cansuyu Association, who made statements about the Syrian Emergency Aid Organization, said, “The war in Syria started in 2011, since then, as Cansuyu, we have continued our support to the people of the region without interruption and tried to be a balm for their wounds. Now, we have brought the aid entrusted to us from Turkey to alleviate the suffering and difficult conditions of our brothers here. Syria is experiencing the coldest winter of recent years. People are struggling to get warm and have a place to stay. Our association has completed the briquette houses it has built in coordination with AFAD and the TDV to solve the housing problem, and these houses will be a warm home for 200 families. We also carried out a large-scale relief effort. We delivered emergency aid materials such as coal, food, blankets, winter clothes and winter boots to thousands of our brothers in Azez and Kefercenne regions. We distributed stationery and nursery supplies to preschool children. We share the pain of our Syrian brothers and try to heal their wounds. Hopefully, we will continue our activities in the region."
