The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced the budget implementation results for September.
Accordingly, in September, budget revenues increased by 113.2 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 441 billion 265 million liras, and budget expenses increased by 99.8 percent, reaching 570 billion 482 million liras.
In the January-September period, budget revenues increased by 74.2 percent compared to the same period last year and reached 3 trillion 439 billion 983 million liras.
Budget expenditures increased by 95.6 percent in the same period, reaching 3 trillion 952 billion 585 million lira.
Thus, the central government budget had a deficit of 129 billion 218 million liras in September and 512 billion 602 million liras in the January-September period.
In September, interest expenses were recorded as 70 billion 764 million lira, an increase of 113.7 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
In the January-September period, interest expenses increased by 127.3 percent and reached 470 billion 864 million lira.
