Budget negotiations for 2022 are continuing in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). The budget marathon for 2022 is expected to be completed this week. The General Assembly of the TBMM will convene at 11:00 today and will continue its discussions on the 2022 Central Government Budget Law Proposal. In addition to the Presidency and two ministries, the budget of 23 public institutions will be discussed in the Parliament this week.
PRESIDENTIAL BUDGET TO BE DISCUSSED ON TUESDAY
The meeting schedule for the 2022 budget in the General Assembly this week is as follows: Monday, December 13: Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radio and Television Supreme Council, General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet, General Directorate of State Theaters, Presidency of Turkish Manuscripts Institution, General Directorate of Foundations, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency Presidency, Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities, Atatürk Higher Institution of Culture, Language and History, Atatürk Research Center, Atatürk Cultural Center, Turkish Language Institution, Turkish Historical Society, Cappadocia Area Presidency, Presidency of European Union, Turkish Accreditation Agency. Tuesday, December 14: Presidency, Presidency of the National Intelligence Organization, General Secretariat of the National Security Council, Presidency of Religious Affairs, Presidency of State Archives, Presidency of National Palaces Administration, Presidency of Strategy and Budget, Directorate of Communications, Presidency of Defense Industry.
BUDGET WILL BE VOTED ON FRIDAY
On the same day, the first 4 articles of the 2022 Central Government Budget Law Proposal, 9 articles on Wednesday, December 15, and 3 articles on Thursday, December 16 will be discussed. Parliament's budget marathon will conclude on Friday, December 17, with speeches on the entire budget.
