Since a Bulgarian Lev is 2 lira 80 cents and 1 euro 5 lira 45 cents, tourists from Bulgaria started to meet almost all their needs from Edirne. Bulgarians, who bought only cleaning materials at the beginning, now have expanded their product baskets with increased awareness of exchange rates.

If Bulgarian tourists are shopping places, it is the folk market established on friday and the biggest shopping malls of the city. The Bulgarians, who arrived in Edirne by bus in the early morning hours, visited the city all day long and returned to their countries in the evening hours after shopping. Especially those coming with special vehicles shop in the Bostanpazarı Quarter and shop selling cleaning products and shopping in public markets. Bulgarian customs do not get tax on purchases of 20 euros for daily arrivals, and less than 260 euros for arrivals once a month. Bulgarian tourists, who take advantage of this, are shopping in the city from textiles to furniture.

MOST SHOPPING POINT, SOCIETY MARKET

The public market, which was established on Fridays in Edirne and known as the 'Social Market', has become the most popular shopping point for those coming from Bulgaria. The Bulgarians, who come to the city by private buses from Bulgaria, shop at wholesale and sell it for 3 times the price in the countries.

Bulgarian tourists from the bazaar from the shopkeeper said they found the prices on the market very attractive, saying:

"I have been marketing for four years. Bulgarian customers are very valued at almost 3 cards, according to the Turkish lira, the currency of Bulgaria Leva. They're shopping for a Leva for 3 Liras here. They buy it from here and sell it in their own country. Good thing they are coming, the fertility of our work is increasing. Most of the people from Bulgaria do not speak English, so we started learning Bulgarian. They shop at a wide variety of shops ranging from pavilions to terry, underwear, shoes, cosmetics. I have children's clothes that I sell to my six liras. There are those who take these for 6 liras and sell them at 3 times their own price. But individual arrivals are shopping very profitably while shopping. We are pleased with their interest. "Güler Mustafa, who came to Bulgaria to shop, said that he loved Edirne very much and that he came almost every day to shop. Bearing in mind that the Bulgarians in Edirne are buying quality products cheaply and increasing their interest, Mustafa said, "We come to Bulgaria every week to shop. The market is very affordable, good quality, there are brand clothes, "he said.
