Çalışkan; “The departments you will choose should be the areas where you will do business with a diploma, considering the post-graduation period,” he said.
Saadet Party General Administrative Board Member Assoc. Dr. Necmettin Çalışkan made statements about the importance of making the right choice during the university selection period, which will last until August 5. Criticizing the lack of appointment of hundreds of thousands of unemployed university graduates in today's Turkey, Caliskan stated that public administrators are under great responsibility in this regard.
“A BAD CHOICE WASTES THE YOUTH'S YEARS”
Saying, “Today, university education is the modern name for postponing unemployment for five more years”; Çalışkan added, “On the other hand, during this period, social life in all fields, including marriage, is postponed for another five years. Our young people think once before choosing a university and twice after graduation. With insufficient appointments and unemployment of surplus graduates; ‘Study means unemployment!’ just wasted years staying. If a faculty produces 30 thousand graduates a year and the public makes a thousand employment, and the diploma does not work in civilian life, there is no need for five years to get a university degree to become a clerk, driver or cashier.”
"MAKE PEOPLE LIVE SO THAT YOUR FUTURE LIVES"
Çalışkan said, “The departments you will choose should be the areas where you will do business with your diploma, considering the post-graduation period. Of course, the validity of the diploma of a university with an international status and an ordinary university is important for certain branches, but there is no difference between diplomas in general. If everything in our country, especially the economy and education, is in its place, if it is planned correctly, if the right and justice administration is taken to the center, our youth and national resources, which are the guarantee of our future, will not be wasted. Let people live so that their future and tomorrow can live and let live.”
