The campaign launched for tragedy in Yemen under the leadership of MEMUR-SEN and HAK-İŞ was shared with the public.

The Memur-Sen Confederation, the Hak-Is Confederation, the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, the Lighthouse, the Turkish Red Crescent and AFAD have launched an aid campaign for Yemen with the theme of "Yemen is Waiting for Humanity". The first phase of the campaign, which was a donation of 200 thousand TL was held at Memur-Sen Headquarters.

Memur-Sen leader Ali Yalçın said that the agenda is Yemen and that what happened in Yemen is a big game with an internal conflict look. Ali Yalçın pointed out that everything is in front of people, half million people are starving and 7 million are in poor condition. Half a million children suffer from severe maladies in the grip of severe illness. 10 million people in the country live in areas where access to health care has completely disappeared.

The conflicts in Yemen are the product of a more complex account because they are believed, said Yalçın. For that reason, we propose to take initiative on the basis of states by establishing a ler Yemen Peace Group mas within the framework of first degree Islamic Cooperation Organization.

Hak-İş President Mahmut Arslan said, As Hak-İş, we remembered our responsibility to fulfill the need of our proverb. Burn a candle instead of swearing to the darkness, it is better t we have to do something. The responsibility of our Confederation is very important, we owe a debt to our Yemeni brothers and we will pay it.

General Director of the Turkish Red Crescent Ibrahim Altan said that all of the donations given to them gave a responsibility, said that this program encouraged them.

In the hope that the aid campaigns will be finalized, AFAD Vice President İsmail Palakoğlu stated that the civil war that has been going on for years in Yemen has many negative effects such as poverty and illness. Palakoglu said that they will cooperate with all civil society organizations for all those in need of assistance. Palakoglu, thanked the Memur-Sen for the campaign.

Demir: We continue to work in the region

IHH Vice President Sait Demir said that the drama was traumatized and said People are in desperate need of dry bread. IHH continues to work in the region. We are continuing in a challenging geography.
