Cansuyu Association extended a helping hand to the region after the big earthquake in Afghanistan recently.

Cansuyu Aid and Solidarity Association continues to reach the real needy with the help it provides in different fields. While the humanitarian crisis that started with the war in Afghanistan grew even more with the earthquake disaster experienced in the past days, Cansuyu Association continues to heal the wounds with the aid it provides in many areas in the region.
 

FOOD PACKAGES REACHED 1,100 FAMILIES

 
In the region, in the provinces of Takhar, Jawzjan, Faryab, Wardak and Kabul, food packages containing the product to meet the needs of a family for one month were distributed, and 1,100 families laughed with these aids. In the distribution of food packages in the region, the packages became a lifeline for hundreds of victims.
 
Thanks to its donors in the field of health, Cansuyu Association provides its help against many health problems to victims who cannot reach treatment. In aids organized in Afghanistan, 4000 people were examined in 8 different districts in the region, together with the eye health camp held in Takhar province. Aiming to save tens of thousands of needy people from the darkness and bring them to light with the cataract operations it organized, in addition to the examinations, Cansuyu Association carried out cataract operations on 250 victims in Afghanistan, helping to lift the veil from their eyes.
 

10 WATER WELL OPENED

 
Cansuyu, which opened the water wells that were completed within the scope of the works carried out in the region, realized the opening of 10 water wells in areas where access to clean water is difficult, after checking them.
 

ORPHANS ARE NOT FORGOTTEN

 
Not forgetting the orphans who are the most victims in the region, Cansuyu delivered orphan's pensions to 102 orphans during the aid activities it carried out in Afghanistan. In addition to the monthly salaries, 150 orphan students were given clothing, shoes and stationery sets as gifts to help them meet their needs.
 

INFORMATION EXCHANGED WITH AUTHORITIES

 
Cansuyu Association teams in the region made separate visits and meetings with the Turkish Ambassador in Kabul, Cihad Erginay, Kabul TIKA Coordinator Zühtü Çal, Afghanistan Red Crescent Deputy Chairman and Foreign Relations managers, and exchanged information about the region.
