Despite the end of the long-standing conflicts in Afghanistan, the humanitarian crisis due to the pandemic and poverty continues to grow.

Cansuyu Association continues to deliver aid to victims and people in need in the region. While the food packages distributed to the victims included a product that would meet the 1-month need of a family, the packages became the lifeline for hundreds of victims in the food package distributions carried out in 3 different regions.

Food package distributions in Afghanistan were delivered to a total of 405 families in Wardak Province, Meydan Shar city and Kabul.

DEĞİRMENCİ: “OUR AID WORKS WILL CONTINUE”

Making statements about the organization, Cansuyu Foreign Relations Coordinator Bilal Değirmenci stated that the Cansuyu Association stands by the oppressed and the victim despite the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, and said, “As Cansuyu Association, we are working hard to heal the wounds of our needy brothers all over the world. We distributed food packages in 3 separate region where the humanitarian crisis continues. We delivered enough products to meet the food needs of 405 families for one month in the distributions in Wardak Province, Meydan Shar city and Kabul. After the aid program we carried out in the past days, we learned that thousands of people died in the 5,9 magnitude earthquake that took place in Afghanistan. We wish Almighty God's mercy on those who passed away. While the region is still in a humanitarian crisis, this earthquake will cause an increase in victimization. As Cansuyu Aid Association, we will continue to deliver our aid to the region.”
