Cease-fire starts in Libya after months of conflicts

Ahmad al-Mismari, a spokesman for Hafter's forces, said in a video message he posted on his official social media account that they accepted a cease-fire call for their operations in western Libya, but that they would respond violently if the other party violated the ceasefire. The first response to the call for a ceasefire was given by the State High Council of the National Memorandum of Government and said that it welcomed it.
 

CEASE-FIRE CELEBRATED WITH FIREWORKS

Explosion sounds were heard in the center of the capital until the midnight when the cease-fire began.
