Vice President Fuat Oktay shared with the public the Central Government Budget for 2023, which is expected to come to the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) next week.
Within the scope of the Central Government Budget; Stating that there are 225 public administrations' budgets, Oktay said, “In the 2023 Central Government Budget, it is foreseen that budget expenditures will be 4 trillion 470 billion TL and budget revenues will be 3 trillion 810 billion TL.” According to the data released by Oktay, it was noteworthy that there was 660 billion TL deficit between income and expenditure in the budget while the ratio of the budget deficit to Gross Domestic Product (GSYH) is calculated as 3,5 percent. Oktay stated that there is a great effort for energy supply security in Turkey and explained that the natural gas and electricity subsidy planned for 2023 is calculated as 600 billion TL on the budget.
