Adem Cevahir, a 38-year-old cleaning worker in Istanbul Güngören Municipality and a member of the "Hizmet-İş" labour union, delivered the bag containing 500,000 Turkish Liras, which he found in the middle of the road while sweeping the streets, to the police, showing an exemplary behavior. Cevahir, who noticed the bag in the middle of the road while he was cleaning on Merter Ali Rıza Gürcan Street in Güngören, informed the police when he noticed that there was a large amount of money in the bag. Receiving the bag, the teams found that it contained 500,000 liras. The bag full of money was handed over to its owner together with the police teams and Adem Cevahir.
ARSLAN GIVES A CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION
"Hak-İş" Confederation Chairman Mahmut Arslan presented a certificate of appreciation to the cleaning worker Adem Cevahir, a member of the "Hizmet-İş" labour union, for his exemplary behavior. Stating that the labourers are always in favor of halal earnings, "Hak-İş" Chairman Arslan said that Adem Cevahir, a member of the "Hizmet-İş" union, represents the "Hizmet-İş" union and all the labourers in the best way with his exemplary behavior.
"I was proud that our member Adem Cevahir handed over a money that he did not earn with his sweat. As 'Hak-İş', we support halal income. Our members also show maximum sensitivity at this point. This also makes us happy,” Arslan said.

Adem Cevahir, a 38-year-old cleaning worker working in Güngören Municipality, said, “When I saw the money in the bag, I did not feel anything because it is haram money. It will be taken out of me. I have done our human duty. I did what suits my 'Hizmet-İş' union, my workplace Güngören Municipality, and an honorable labourer.”
