Mustafa Şentop, President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), visited Pamukkale University Institute of Islamic Sciences, which was established in Yatağan, Denizli, with the support of the GAYE Foundation, which operates under the spiritual auspices of Prof. Dr. M.Cevat Akşit Hodja.
Şentop, who received information from Pamukkale University Rector Ahmet Kutluhan about the academic studies carried out in Turkey's first Islamic Sciences Institute, also chatted with the young people studying at the institute.
AKŞİT HODJA INTRODUCED THE BOOKS IN THE LIBRARY
Parliament Speaker Mustafa Şentop later visited the Mufti Arif Akşit Education and Culture Foundation.
Here, Şentop, together with Cevat Akşit Hodja, examined the thousand-year-old manuscripts in the foundation's library, including works by Imam Buhari and Molla Hüsrev, and the 300-year-old banner of Teke Müsellim.
Mustafa Şentop also received detailed information about the books in the library from Cevat Akşit Hodja.
