A total of 54 million 23 thousand 601 voters voted in Turkey and abroad, and the participation rate was 84.15 percent.
Ahmet Yener, Chairman of the Supreme Election Board (YSK), announced the final results regarding the second vote of the Presidential Election.
"Our Board has followed the processes in the election calendar and the objections to the second presidential vote, which ended on May 29-31, 2023, were evaluated yesterday. As a result of the evaluations, the objections in question were finalized. The second voting results of the Presidential Election held on 28 May 2023 were sent to the Official Gazette to be announced," Yener said.
"TOTAL PARTICIPATION RATE 84.15 PERCENT"
"In the second voting of the Presidential Election on 28 May 2023, it was observed that 52 million 93 thousand 375 domestic voters cast their votes, and the voting rate was 85.72 percent. 1 million 930 thousand 226 voters abroad, including customs, cast their votes, and the turnout rate was 56.34 percent. It was observed that a total of 54 million 23 thousand 601 voters cast their votes in Turkey and abroad, and the total turnout rate was 84.15 percent," Yener added.
“ERDOĞAN RECEIVED 27 MILLION 834 THOUSAND 589 VOTES”
"According to these results, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received a total of 27 million 834 thousand 589 votes and reached 52.18 percent of the votes. Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu received 25 million 504 thousand 724 votes and reached 47.82 percent of the votes. As a result of the evaluations and decisions taken by our Board, it was understood that Mr. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan elected as the President and it was sent to the Official Gazette," Yener said.
