Christianity propaganda is made from beginning to end in the book "In the Land of White Lilies", which was distributed to teachers by the Ministry of National Education on November 24, Teachers' Day and whose foreword was written by Minister Selçuk.
Minister Selçuk, who wrote the foreword in the special edition of the book written by Priest Grigori S. Petrov based on the Bible, said, “As the Ministry of National Education, on November 24, we wanted to present this unique work to our teachers, who shape the future of our country and are the cornerstone of education."
The fact that he showed the priest as a guide to the teachers with his statements, received reaction from the education community.
THE BIBLE SHOWN AS THE BASIS OF LIFE!
In the introduction to the book "The Bible as the Basis of Life" written by Petrov, based on the distorted Bible in the Land of White Lilies, "The main idea of the work that the author sincerely defends is the need to return to the Bible that guides with real life ideals" include lyrics. In one of the biographies describing Petrov (the author of the book), "He believed that the teachings of the Bible of Matthew could be applied in daily life and that everyone should be tested with pain and reshape their life."
AUTHOR OF THE BOOK: PRIEST GRIGORI S.PETROV
The author of the book, presented by the Minister of National Education as a guide to teachers, is Grigori S. Petrov, who graduated from the clergy school and became a pastor. Petrov was later appointed the minister of the then capital of Russia (Petersburg).
THE THOUGHT OF EVANGELICALISM IS ALSO IMPOSED
"Mene, Tekel, Peres", which gives its title to the first chapter of the book in the Land of White Lilies, where the ideas of "evangelicalism" are also imposed, was written with reference to the distorted Torah. The book also states that it is not right to criticize Jews and masons.
REFERENCE FROM THE BIBLE DESTRICTED TO CHILDREN
In the tenth chapter of the book, while giving information about child education, the distorted Bible is used as a reference: "This story in the Bible has a deep meaning that is valid in every period for people and peoples who want to do great things." (p.123)
The last chapter of the book is devoted to Pastor McDonald, one of the notables of the idealized Christian McDonald family. Pastor McDonald said, "The McDonald family, belonging to the duke's lineage, was known in Scotland as an extremely religious family that attaches great importance to religious values. There was a rule in the family that one of the boys was a priest." (p. 185)
CHURCH PROPAGANDA
In the sixth part of the book, while the subject of the Church is being discussed, the messages of Christianity, the distorted Bible and the "Christ" are conveyed to the reader like a missionary. Here are some chapters on the church in the book: "… Jesus Christ first taught people to live clean, good and right…" (p. 86) "Representatives of Christ on earth! I call out to you with tears on behalf of the two million Finnish people. … Teach people the truth of Christ! Let everyone live according to the Bible, regardless of whether they are old or children, young or adults… ”(p. 87)“… I blame myself, society and all humanity, not the priests. Priests do not fall from the sky or are brought from the swamp by the wind. The clergy of our country is made up of people of our blood and soul…” (p. 87)
FULL OF PAGES FROM THE BIBLE AND CHRISTIAN PROPAGANDAS
There are many passages from the falsified Bible in the book. Here are some of these passages: "Thousands followed Christ, followed the Prophet John in the desert..." (p. 87) "Church Priests! As a layman, I want to say the following. God is dead in the soul of the people…” (p. 88) “Gentlemen, do you remember the story on the first pages of the Bible? Cain had killed his brother Abel. God speaks to Cain's conscience and says, Where is your brother Abel? Cain asks, 'What about Abel to me? Am I his keeper? he said. These lines in the Bible have been repeated thousands of times in the lives of all peoples." (p. 146)
WHY THIS BOOK?
There were many reactions from the education community to Milli Gazete about the book "In the Country of White Lilies".
Educators ask Minister Selçuk: "While world-renowned educators stand among our historical values, what was the purpose of Minister Ziya Selçuk in distributing this book? In these days when the crusader mentality is trying to corner us in the Mediterranean, wouldn't Minister Ziya Selçuk for example distribute "Gazavat-ı Hayrettin", which contains the memoirs of "Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha", to the teachers?"
