CLASS B LICENSE IS ENOUGH
To drive motorcycles with an engine power of up to 50cc, you must have a class B license. Drivers with a B-class license can easily drive motorcycles with an engine power of up to 50 cc.
GREAT CHOICE FOR SHORT DISTANCES
Engines with engine power up to 50cc are often called scooters and mopeds. These vehicles can easily maneuver in traffic, are quiet and fuel efficient, and also reduce the risk of traffic accidents as they have low speed limits. For this reason, motors that do not require a license are preferred especially for short distance transportation.
EXEMPT FROM SCT AND MVT, NO TRAFFIC INSURANCE
Engines under 50 cc, also known as motor bikes, are both exempt from Motor Vehicles Tax and more importantly, they are not covered by Compulsory Traffic Insurance.
Zero 50 cc engines are also exempt from SCT.
The fuel consumption of small motorcycles with a single cylinder, injection and approximately 3-4 horsepower is also very low. The fuel tanks of these engines, which consume a small amount of fuel, are 3.5 liters. With a full tank, drivers can travel approximately 140-150 kilometers.

According to the latest figures announced, Türkiye became the first in Europe in motorcycle sales. In the first six months of 2023, when more than 426 thousand engines were sold, this figure reached a record level and increased by 132 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
