The citizen, whose livelihood and the cost of living are twisted, have become able to pay natural gas bills, which is one of the monthly basic expense items, by installments. Thus, the citizen will use natural gas for 1 month and pay the installment of their monthly bill for 3 months.
A striking picture of the economic situation of the citizen has become concrete this time on natural gas bills. Last year, İGDAŞ announced that it has launched a maturity installment campaign for natural gas bills for the citizen, who entered the queues to buy cheap onions and potatoes last year. 13 banks joined the campaign this year. Accordingly, installments will be applied to natural gas bills until May 31, 2020. According to the agreement with the bank, invoices can be paid in 2 to 4 installments.
Istanbul Gaz Dağıtım Sanayii ve Ticaret A.Ş (İGDAŞ), a subsidiary of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB), has launched a maturity installment application for natural gas bills. 13 banks will participate in the study. In the application, which will continue until 31 May 2020, the installments of the banks are as follows;
- Akbank, Isbank, Turkey Finans Participation Bank and Yapi Kredi Bank is implementing the third installment interest free credit card bills with over $ 100.
- Kuveyt Türk Participation Bank divides the bills between 100 TL and 2.000 TL, and Vakıfbank between 100 TL and 20.000 TL into 3 installments.
- Alternative Bank, Denizbank, Garanti Bank, Şekerbank, TEB apply 2 installments to all invoices without any lower limit, and QNB Finansbank to invoices up to 3.000 TL.
- Halkbank applies 4 installments to invoices between 100 TL and 50.000 TL.

İGDAŞ General Manager Mithat Bülent Özmen, in his statement about the campaign, "natural gas consumption started to increase as the weather got colder. We have also started an installment campaign to enable our subscribers to pay increasing heating expenses easily. We ensured their participation in our campaign by negotiating with banks. Our goal is to make our subscribers' lives easier."
