The institution made a written statement regarding the problems experienced by Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons and their hunger strikes.

"What needs to be done is to boldly establish an international human rights and humanitarian committee. It is necessary to go to Israeli prisons, to deal with all the details of the crime and to see the suffering of the administrative detainees up close," the statement said.

Stating that the captives were "held without any charge or trial", it was emphasized that this practice of terrorist Israel "has become a sword hanging on the neck of the entire Palestinian people".

It was stressed that Palestinians "paid for the body with their lives by being arrested for peacefully sharing their views on social media".

Reminding that 13 prisoners in Israeli prisons are on hunger strike, the statement warned that "this number may increase in the coming days".

THE "ADMINISTRATIVE PRISONERS" APPLICATION OF THE ZIONIST REGIME

Administrative detention means that Israel takes Palestinians in the occupied territories captive without charge.

Palestinians can be imprisoned for up to 6 months without learning the accusation against them and without the right to defend themselves.

After this period, the detention period of a Palestinian, who is referred to a military court but unaware of the charges, can be repeatedly extended up to 5 years.

The Palestinian Prisoners Association announced that the number of Palestinian "administrative prisoners" who went on hunger strike in Israeli prisons had reached 13, after 6 more Palestinians started the hunger strike the previous day.
