The weekly group meeting of the Saadet-Gelecek Party Parliamentary Group was held. Acting Group Deputy Chairman Bülent Kaya, instead of Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, made evaluations regarding the agenda.

“CLOSE OUR AIRSPACE TO MILITARY FLIGHTS, DO NOT SEND SHIPS ANYMORE”

Pointing out that the ruling party would continue to sell slogans if it were not for the Saadet-Gelecek group, Kaya reminded their calls for steps to be taken regarding Israel.

'Close our airspace to military flights, do not send ships to Israel anymore. You export goods, including iron and steel, to Israel. "Stop hunting with the wolf and crying with the shepherd.' These issues we put forward must have disturbed the ruling party, as their attitude, which initially called for moderation, gradually increased, even if it was at the point of heroism. A government that only yesterday said 'We have to ensure the security of Israel as a state' has today had to declare Israel as a terrorist state," Kaya said.

“THE GOVERNMENT PRIVATIZED EVERYTHING BELONGING TO THE STATE, BUT NATIONALIZED CIVIL SOCIETY”

Addressing the government, Kaya asked why Turkey's airspace has not yet been closed to Israeli planes and why there has not been an embargo on Israeli ships yet.

"You say to Israel that 'this country does not owe anything', but as the government, you will have huge debts to Israel and the international circles that support you, and you cannot take any steps in this regard. People flocked to the squares in many countries, including European countries, but in Turkey, we are sadly going through a process where a significant part of our non-governmental organizations cannot even come to the squares so that our government and our President will not be harmed. This government privatized everything belonging to the state and nationalized civil society. We no longer have a civil society, but a civil society that has become a public society," Kaya added.

“IF YOU DO NOT CLOSE THE JUSTICE GAP, YOU CANNOT CLOSE THE BUDGET DEFICIT”

Reminding that President Erdoğan is the co-chairman of the Greater Middle East Project, Kaya underlined that the government only criticizes from the podiums, and stated that when he leaves the podiums, he signs whatever comes his way.

"If you let drug and mafia gangs roam the streets and make headlines for another social media disgrace every day, instead of doing things in line with the principles of morality and spirituality, the country will of course come to this situation. If you don't close the justice gap, you can't close the budget gap. If you cannot eliminate the legal deficit, you cannot prevent the current account deficit. If you do not put an end to the system of waste, bribery and corruption, you cannot improve the economy even if Ali leaves or Veli comes and you announce a new package every day," Kaya added.

“IF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ARE EARNING WAGES BELOW THE HUNGER LINE, IT MEANS THAT THINGS ARE NOT GETTING GOOD”

Pointing out that Turkey's situation is not getting better, Kaya underlined that there are different crises in every field.

"Minimum wage negotiations are approaching, discussions are being held on hunger and poverty again, and the public is being distracted by debates on whether we should pay a minimum wage below or above the hunger line. Under these conditions, what would happen if you gave 14 thousand liras, what would happen if you gave 15 thousand liras? If millions of people in a country are on the hunger line and still forced to earn a wage below it, things are not going well. If our civil servants earn 22 thousand TL, our minimum wage earners 11 thousand 500 TL, and our retirees earn 7 thousand 500 TL, of course things are not going well," Kaya stated.

“WE WILL START SAVINGS IN THE COUNTRY BY TURNING OFF THE LAMB OF AK PARTY”

Stating that budget discussions will begin at the General Assembly next week, Kaya underlined that the lion's share of the budget will again be transferred to the interest lobby.

"Our resources are transferred to a handful of businessmen, not to budget investments. If you do not start by turning off the burning light bulb in your home, know that you cannot implement greater savings measures on larger items. That's why we say that we can start saving in this country by turning off the AK Party's light bulb on March 31. Hopefully, on March 31, as Saadet and Gelecek parties, we will start by turning off the AK Party's light bulb together," Kaya said.
