While CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıcdaroglu's agenda was the closure case against HDP and rumors that the Machinery and Chemical Industry Corporation would be sold, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli gave wide coverage to the closure case filed against HDP in his speech.

Underlining that it would not be right to close political parties, CHP Chairman Kılıcdaroglu said that prosecutors should step in if they have links with terrorist organizations.

"But if this is done with a political instruction, it is not true. It is our basic duty as human beings to oppose injustice no matter who is wronged. In democracies, the greatest arbiter is the people. If he votes, it's okay, if he doesn't, you're thrown into the wastebasket of history. We all need to be sensitive about democracy. We must demand democracy not only for ourselves, but also for those who do not think like us," Kılıçdaroglu said.

Kılıcdaroglu said that the government tried to sell the Machinery and Chemical Industry Corporation.

"You remember the Tank Pallet Factory, right? Tank pallet was affiliated to the Ministry of National Defense, and those working in it were public employees, but they made an arrangement, they will donate this place to someone. You cannot withdraw the Ministry of Health, you cannot withdraw the Ministry of Finance because it is not a joint stock company. Then if we turn it into a joint stock company, we sell it. They made a tank track and gave it to the Qatari army. Now, let's turn the Machinery and Chemical Industry Corporation into a joint stock company, when the time comes, there is no money left in the Treasury, then let's market it to someone. They are on this quest," Kilicdaroglu added.

“JUSTICE DOES NOT APPROVE THIS DISASSEMBLE”

MHP Chairman Bahceli stated that the Constitutional Court's decision to file the second lawsuit for the HDP's closure is a good development, and said that the political branch of terrorism should be closed so that it cannot be opened under any name.

Making harsh criticisms of other opposition parties, Bahçeli referred to CHP Chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu's statement on the wrongness of closing parties in democracies,

"HDP is not a party. The scales of justice and conscience cannot approve of this disgrace. The HDP's shroud for Turkish democracy is a laid mine. HDP should be closed," Bahceli said.

In addition, Bahceli claimed that Deniz Poyraz, who lost her life as a result of the attack on HDP Izmir Provincial Presidency, was a member of the PKK.
