During the visit, attention was drawn to the bilateral relationship between the two unions.

Stating that the Egyptian Federation of Trade Unions (ETUF) and Confederation of Workers Unions (HAK-İŞ) are two confederations fighting for the rights of the labor movement, Arslan stated that ETUF and HAK-İŞ are two important partners in solving regional problems and the problems of workers in both countries.

Arslan emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation agreements between unions affiliated with HAK-İŞ and unions affiliated with ETUF, and stated that important work will be carried out in the trade union field thanks to the agreements.

“LET'S CONTINUE COLLABORATION ON PALESTINE”

Stating that the two confederations have common thoughts on Palestine, Arslan stated that the sensitivity of HAK-İŞ on Palestine is at a high level.

"We will have the opportunity to reveal our sensitivity on Palestine and Jerusalem within this framework. You know Palestine is under occupation. We, the Palestinians, will continue to fight together to end the occupation of the Zionist terrorist state of Israel, to end the blockade on Gaza, for Palestinian workers to move and travel freely, and for the establishment of a free and independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. I know that our Egyptian brothers and sisters who are members of the ETUF share the same feelings. I hope we will continue to work together on Palestine from now on," Arslan said.

“WE DON'T LEFT PALESTINE ALONE, WE WILL NOT LEFT IT”

Qader, Chairman of the Egyptian Railways Workers Union, stated that the relations between ETUF and HAK-İŞ date back to many years and emphasized that Egypt and Turkey are two countries that need each other.

Stating that the Palestinian cause is also very important for ETUF, Qader said, "We, as the government, civil society and trade unions, have made the Palestinian issue our priority. We really care about this issue. We have never left Palestine alone, but we speak about Palestine in all the meetings we attend and hold."
