People from all over Turkey flocked to the Saadet Party Headquarters after the death of Asiltürk, Chairman of the Felicity (Saadet) Party High Advisory Board and the National Vision Foundation.
Many important names, especially Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gül, came together with Saadet Party Chairman Karamollaoğlu and conveyed their condolences. Condolence messages were not limited to only Turkey. The leader of the Palestinian resistance, Ismael Haniya, also called Karamollaoğlu on the phone and expressed their deep sadness over his death.
"WORKED FOR THE UMMAH UNTIL THE LAST MOMENT OF HIS LIFE"
Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gül, who met with Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu at the party headquarters for a condolence visit, said after his condolences, stating that Asiltürk made great contributions to our state and political life.
"He worked all his life to raise a conscious generation. Until the last moment of his life, he did not stop working for the future of the ummah," Gül said.
"HE DID A GREAT SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY AND NATION"
Former Customs and Trade Minister Bülent Tüfenkçi said that Asiltürk had struggled for the cause of Milli Gorus as well as for the unity and integrity of Turkey throughout his life.
"Our country and our nation have always provided great services. Rest in peace," Tüfenkçi said.
"ASİLTÜRK'S NAME WILL LIVE IN MALATYA"
Stating that both our country and Malatya have lost an important value, Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Selahattin Gürkan wished God's mercy on Asiltürk, "We will keep the name of our brother and compatriot Oğuzhan Asiltürk, who worked for our country and nation, alive in Malatya," he said.
CONDOLENCE PHONE FROM HANIYA TO KARAMOLLAOĞLU
Another condolence for Asiltürk came from Palestine. The previous night, the leader of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement HAMAS, Ismael Haniya, called Saadet Party leader Karamollaoğlu by phone and conveyed his condolences. Haniya noted that the Palestinian people and their resistance experienced great sadness after Asiltürk's death, and that the Palestinian people will not forget Asiltürk.
