While the problems in the education system await solutions, the government does not take steps to solve these problems.

While teachers were waiting for the 2024 appointment to be announced as soon as possible, the government announced that the work was continuing.

Confederation of Civil Servants' Unions (Memur-Sen) Chairman Ali Yalçın called for the appointment.

“LIMITING JUSTIFICATIONS SHOULD NOT BE ASSIGNED”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that the process regarding appointments is continuing and announced that the Minister of National Education continues to work on the issue.

Memur-Sen Chairman Ali Yalçın wants the voices of teachers to be heard.

"Our colleagues who have been trying to make their voices heard for a long time in order to appoint 68 thousand teachers should be heard. When determining the number of teacher appointments; Restrictive reasons such as the number of retirees or budget discipline should not be put forward, and the real need that is being tried to be covered by paid teachers should be seen," Yalçın said.

“APPOINTMENT OF TEACHERS WHO WILL MEET THE REAL NEED SHOULD BE PRIORITIZED”

Drawing attention to the importance of education, Yalçın said, "It should not be forgotten that education does not save money. Every child's life is special and no child has a substitute. The government, which always prioritizes education, should also prioritize the appointment of enough teachers to meet the real need."
