IT WILL CONTRIBUTE POSITIVELY TO MANY CHRONICIZED PROBLEMS IN THE MIDDLE EAST

Iran and Saudi Arabia, which have conflicts on many issues in the Middle East politics, have made a historic decision to reopen diplomatic relations and open embassies mutually after 7 years.

In accordance with the said agreement decision, the two countries will cooperate on many issues and try to further strengthen their existing relations. Following the preliminary agreement signed by the security chiefs of the two countries in Beijing, the capital of China, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Iran are also expected to meet.

Evaluations are made that the reconciliation talks, which took place under the mediation of China, can contribute positively to many chronic problems of the Middle East. If the agreement is positive and sustained, China will add a plus point to its political record in the Middle East.
