Six political parties, acting together for the Strengthened Parliamentary System, started to work on the ‘constitution’ within the scope of the new system proposal.

Six political parties carrying out the work of the Strengthened Parliamentary System rolled up their sleeves for the ‘constitution’. The executives of Republican People’s Party (CHP), Good (IYI) Party, Felicity (Saadet) Party, Democrat Party, Future (Gelecek) Party and Democracy and Development (Deva) Party, who announced the election security and economy report to the public in the previous days, agreed on 110 items for the regular and systematic transition from the Presidential Government System to the Parliamentary System. 
 

CONSTITUTION WORK CONTINUES UNDER 4 TITLES 

 
Muharrem Erkek from CHP, Uğur Poyraz from IYI Party, Mustafa Kamalak from Saadet Party, Serhan Yücel from Democrat Party, Serap Yazıcı from Gelecek Party and Mustafa Yeneroğlu from Deva Party are participating in the constitutional studies. The constitutional work, which is carried out under 4 titles, includes the Constitutional Amendment, the Law on Political Parties, Political Ethics and the Parliament's Bylaws. It is also said that these topics can be increased again after the next six summit. 
 

NO CHANGES TO THE FIRST 75 ITEMS 

 
In technical and comprehensive studies, the constitutional arrangements to be made within the scope of the preparation for the Strengthened Parliamentary System are discussed. Within the scope of the new system proposal, a number of regulations that can be called harmonization laws are on the table. While no changes are foreseen for the first 75 articles of the Constitution, arrangements are made for the re-emergence of the prime ministership, the presidential secretariat and duties, and the duties of the State Supervisory Board, apart from the first 75 articles. The said constitutional amendment is planned to be completed in the first days of July.
