In this context, Gelecek Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu, who visited the Saadet Party Headquarters, had a meeting with Temel Karamollaoğlu.
After the meeting, which was closed to the press, a written statement was made from the Saadet Party account.
The statement included the following:
"During the meeting of the two leaders, the group work of the TGNA and the preparations for the local elections were discussed and views were exchanged on political developments. In this context, the presidents agreed on the functioning principles and priority agendas of the Saadet-Gelecek Group during the parliamentary work that will start on 1 October."

In the continuation of the statement, it was stated that the meeting between the two leaders was in a positive atmosphere, and it was stated that the positive effect of the cooperation between the two parties, the effort to overcome the pessimism in the society after the general elections and to create a new political climate, was pleasing.
"In the context of preparations for local elections, they decided to initiate consultations between local organizations and the relevant units of the headquarters. The Chairpersons also evaluated the political developments and confirmed the importance they attach to more regular consultations within this framework," the statement said.
