The death toll in the conflict in Sudan reached 185, while more than 1,800 civilians and soldiers were injured. A 2-year-old baby was also killed in the conflict.

A spokesman for the Sudanese army reported that the events were a "coup attempt" that sought to seize the government rather than a political disagreement.

The FSP, which clashed with the army in Sudan, accepted the US call for a ceasefire.

Sudanese army spokesman Nabil Abdullah stated that the events that have taken place in Sudan since April 15 are not a political disagreement, but rather a "coup attempt" that seeks to seize the government.

"This scourge began with the Rapid Support Forces (FSP) mobilization of forces in the capital and the states, and the dubious actions of its leadership inside and outside the country. These events are a coup attempt in which the government is sought to seize rather than a political disagreement," Abdullah said.

Addressing the members of the FSP, Abdullah said, "We know that you are the sons of Sudan. It does no one any good for the country's own children to point guns at each other. We call on them to stop getting involved in this conspiracy and surrender. If they want to be part of Sudan's security and military establishment, they must join the armed forces. We do not want them to be part of this plan and personal plans that have nothing to do with the interests of the country."

Meanwhile, Mohammed Hamdan Dagalu, the commander of the paramilitary force Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which clashed with the army in Sudan, announced that they accepted the 24-hour ceasefire proposal of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

In a statement from the military, "We are not aware of any coordination with the mediators and the international community on a ceasefire. The rebels' declaration of a 24-hour ceasefire aims to cover up their crushing defeat within hours," it was stated.

ATTACK ON EU AND US AUTHORITIES

Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, announced that he was attacked at the residence of the EU ambassador in Sudan.

"A few hours ago, the EU ambassador in Sudan was attacked at his residence," Borrell said.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken reported that fire was opened on the American diplomatic convoy in Sudan, where clashes between the army and the paramilitary force called the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continue.

The United Nations (UN) announced that it has decided to cease its operations in Sudan due to conflicts between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

2-YEAR-Old BABY KILLED IN CONFLICT

Elin, the 2-year-old daughter of Turkish citizen Kubilay Daduk, died in the clashes between the army and members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sudan.

Due to the rockets hitting Daduk's house, his 2-year-old daughter Elin lost her life. Daduk and his Sudanese wife continue to be treated in the intensive care unit.

EGYPT: “EVENTS ARE AN INTERNAL ISSUE, SHOULD NOT BE INTERVENTED”

On the other hand, Abdel Fattah es-Sisi, the putschist general of Egypt, emphasized that his country's unwavering stance on the developments in Sudan is not to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries.

Speaking at a meeting of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, Sisi said, "The goal of Egyptian forces in Sudan is only to provide training, not support in favor of one side and not against the other. The events in Sudan are an internal matter and should not be interfered with."
