The main courthouse in the southern resort of Antalya was evacuated over a bomb scare on Oct. 6, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor Ramazan Solmaz told the agency that the courthouse was evacuated as a precautionary measure over a bomb threat.
Solmaz also denied reports of a suicide bomber inside the courthouse building, saying there was intelligence of a suspected bomb targeting police.
Meanwhile, police took extensive measures around the building, cordoning it off and evacuating people inside.
Counter-terrorism and bomb disposal experts have been conducting investigations inside the building.
