Millions of citizens, who are trying to spend the month of Ramadan with a great crisis, are experiencing the bitter joy of reaching Eid al-Fitr. Citizens will celebrate this holiday from afar, just like in the corona period, due to the burning ticket prices.
ROAD COSTS FEAR CITIZEN
Students are among those most affected by the cost of the road. High hikes in transportation ticket prices, especially buses, made the citizens unable to leave their homes during the holiday. Even between two cities, the distance of which is one hour, ticket prices cannot be found under 100 TL, and the prices increase as the distances increase. So much so that a round-trip ticket for a family of four going to Istanbul from Ankara costs approximately 2,000 Turkish Liras (TL). The resulting road cost intimidates the citizens.
STUDENTS WILL SPEND THIS EID AL-FITR NOT AT THE FAMILY HOME, BUT IN THE DORMITORY!
Students who go to their families every holiday have to spend this year with staying in school dormitories away from their families due to the increasing ticket prices. Although students tend to travel by train due to the increase in bus and flight ticket prices, they cannot find tickets this time due to the intensity experienced.
