Since the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Zionist Israeli police, which has continued their harassment and raids on Masjid al-Aqsa, again raided after the morning prayer and attacked Palestinian Muslims. On the third Friday of Ramadan, while approximately 150,000 people were performing the Friday prayer at Masjid al-Aqsa in occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli police fired tear gas canisters at the congregation after the prayer.
The Israeli police allowed only the elderly and women to enter the Masjid al-Aqsa for Friday prayers. Palestinian young men were blocked from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque at some gates. From time to time, clashes broke out between the Israeli police and the Palestinians gathered at the gates of the Masjid al-Aqsa. Many Palestinians were detained during the events, and at least 31 Palestinians were injured. A group of Palestinian youth gathered in the courtyard of Masjid al-Aqsa and especially at the door of the Qibla Masjid threw stones at the police station. Israeli police entered the Masjid al-Aqsa and used sound bombs intensely. and intercepted the inside with rubber-coated bullets. Responding to the wounded, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that at least 31 Palestinians were injured in the intervention of the Israeli police, and 14 of them were treated in hospital. During the events, the fire that broke out as a result of the fire in one of the trees in the courtyard of the Masjid al-Aqsa was extinguished. Despite the interventions of the Israelis, thousands of Muslims performed the morning prayer in Masjid al-Aqsa.
THIS YEAR'S EXCUSE PASSOVER DAY!
Unlike previous years, the occupying Israeli police removed the Palestinians from Masjid al-Aqsa during the raids on the Jewish Passover this year and prevented their entry during the raids. Compared to previous years, 4 fundamental differences were observed in this year's raids on Masjid al-Aqsa by the invading Jews. Compared to previous years, some differences were observed in the Jewish raids in Masjid al-Aqsa. The first of these differences is that the Muslims who prayed during the raids, in which the Israeli police were heavily involved, were completely removed Aqsa’s courtyard and prevention of their entrance. Raids are made especially in the morning and last at least 3-4 hours. As in the other 6 festivals of the Jews, the raids of the fanatical Jews on Masjid al-Aqsa increase during Passover. The Zionist regime also does not oppose the raids by the Jews on Masjid al-Aqsa, and does not even consider it as a "raid", and accompanies them under the protection of the police. Israeli Prime Ministry Spokesperson Ofir Gendelman also said in a previous statement, "There is no such thing as a raid on Masjid al-Aqsa by the Jews. This is a lie spread by Palestinian extremists. This place has been the holiest site of the Jewish religion for thousands of years. Visits do not harm Masjid al-Aqsa and Muslims," he said.
ISRAEL POLICE ATTACKED AGAIN
Despite the tension and Israel's restrictions, thousands of Palestinians from different parts of the occupied West Bank came to the Masjid al-Aqsa in occupied Jerusalem. Thousands of Palestinians, who came to Masjid al-Aqsa to perform the third Friday prayer of Ramadan, formed a stampede at Israeli military points. In a written statement made by the Jerusalem Islamic Foundations Administration, it was stated that approximately 150,000 people performed the Friday prayer in al-Aqsa. Before the prayer, a Palestinian climbed over the Kubbetu's-Sahra Mosque in the Masjid al-Aqsa Complex and hung the Palestinian flag. After the prayer, Palestinian groups of thousands of people chanted slogans against the occupation of Israel and said takbir. Israeli police fired tear gas with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on thousands of people of all ages staying in the courtyard of Masjid al-Aqsa after the Friday prayer. In the statement made by the Palestinian Red Crescent, it was stated that dozens of people affected by the tear gas were intervened.
