Announcing the grievance that millions of students are dragged into with the headline "Let the Interest Clamp End for Students", the Milli Gazete called on the government to abolish interest rates.
Three days after this call, which was announced to the public by the Youth Branch of the Saadet Party and attracted attention with the headline of the Milli Gazete, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in a statement after the Council of Ministers, announced that the KYK loan interests were deleted and only the principal payment would be taken from the students in debt.
