Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu and headquarters managers performed the Eid prayer at Hamidiye Mosque in Ankara Balgat.
Karamollaoğlu, made a statement to the press after the prayer.
"I congratulate all our brothers and sisters who follow us and the entire Islamic world on Eid al-Adha. I hope that our brothers in Gaza will find peace as soon as possible," Karamollaoğlu said.
“ISRAEL WILL DEFINITELY ONE DAY BE PUNISHED FOR THE FRACITY IT CAUSED”
Drawing attention to the massacre in Gaza, Karamollaoğlu stated that such brutality had never been witnessed before.
"Israel, which committed this atrocity, will definitely see its consequences one day. Countries in the Western world such as America and England, which turn a blind eye to this and do not see this brutality, will one day feel and experience their share. Of course, hundreds of thousands, even millions, of our Muslim brothers are doing their part and praying for the oppressed in Arafat yesterday and hopefully in the Kaaba from now on. May God Almighty accept our prayers as soon as possible and show us the reward of the oppressors for their oppression. May God have mercy on our deceased brothers and children. I hope it eases the pain of those left behind," Karamollaoğlu said.
“D-8'S ARE OF GREAT IMPORTANCE”
Reminding the anniversary of the founding of D-8, Karamollaoğlu drew attention to the importance of D-8s.
"D-8s are a duty that our Erbakan Hodja performed before leaving the government. Perhaps the most important organization of the Islamic world. Unfortunately, D-8s do not fulfill their duties, especially because the countries that should take part in the fulfillment of this duty do not fulfill their duties. If God willing, one day, if Milli Görüş comes to power, it will activate the D-8s, which are the guarantee of the peace of the Islamic world and even this region, as soon as possible. D-8s are of great importance not only politically and militarily, but also economically and socially," Karamollaoğlu added.
