Within the scope of the project, which is aimed to establish a federal united Cyprus and poses a threat to the existence of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC), a letter of participation was sent to the schools from the KKTC Ministry of Education (MEB).

The Imagine Project, which was created to bring Turkish and Greek Cypriots closer to each other and to instill a Cypriot identity, poses a danger to the existence of the KKTC. While the project, which is a tool of imperialist goals on the KKTC, should be canceled immediately and the brainwashing of the Turkish Cypriots should be prevented, the KKTC Ministry of National Education is taking the opposite step. In the letter sent to the schools from the KKTC MEB, the Imagine Project is introduced and information about participation is conveyed.

“THE PROJECT SHOULD BE CANCELED”

Former consultant of Rauf Denktaş, Sabahattin İsmail, made remarkable statements in the past period regarding the ImagIne Project, which poses a threat to the existence of the KKTC. Noting that the project in question should be canceled as soon as possible, İsmail said, “Even in the British period and the Republic of Cyprus, education is separate. It has been under the authority of both national societies separately, there has not been a common education. Under the responsibility of this committee, joint training within the framework of a project funded by Germany and having political goals is absurd, it is a shame on ourselves. It is to serve to tear our youth away from the motherland and the KKTC.”
