Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Vahit Kirişci, made a big scandal to show his period successful.

The fact that Kirişci, who could not find a solution to the fundamental problems in the agricultural sector, tried to present even the previous works in the ministry as if it was done for the first time during his term, was evaluated as "he is trying to make a premium in front of the President like this".

The "Agriculture is in My Pocket" application for the digitalization of agriculture was launched the previous day with the introduction of the Minister of Agriculture, Vahit Kirişci.

Kirişci described the application as a "revolution", saying that it is the first study on digitalization.

However, it was significant that he ignored the "E-Agriculture" application, which was implemented within the scope of digitalization during Bekir Pakdemirli's term and was more comprehensive than the "Agriculture in My Pocket" application.

WHAT HAPPENED TO “E-AGRICULTURE”?

While the digitalization work in agriculture was started during the Bekir Pakdemirli period, the "E-Agriculture" application, which was built by spending 2 million TL in 2020, was implemented in this context.

The introduction of the e-Agriculture application was made by Bekir Pakdemirli on July 8, 2020 and put into service.

Although the e-Agriculture application is more comprehensive than the application in Tarım Cebimde, this application was quietly thrown away during the Kirişci period.

With the e-Agriculture application, all citizens, especially farmers, were given the opportunity to do their work and transactions with the ministry in a shorter time, without going to the provincial and district directorates, completely without documents.

In the e-Agriculture application, there were 88 modules for farmers and 50 for citizens and companies, a total of 138 modules.
