A new law proposal was prepared within the scope of anti-coronavirus measures. According to the articles in the draft bill, which is also submitted to the opinions of the business world, layoffs are prohibited for three months.
 
The President may extend this ban up to six months if he wishes. If the employer wishes, he/she can take the worker for free leave, in this case, the worker will be paid 39 liras and 24 cents per day. In addition, the same amount will be paid to workers who are laid off after March 15 and cannot receive unemployment benefits.
 
Other items included in the proposal are as follows: In extraordinary situations such as epidemics, earthquakes, natural disasters, care services will be provided to the elderly who need it, and the maintenance fee will be paid. The same right will be provided to the disabled, children and women.

The prohibition of termination of employers can be extended up to six months by the decision of the President. However, if the employer wishes, he will be able to leave the workers for free leave. The worker, who is on leave without pay, will pay 39 liras and 24 cents per day from the state unemployment fund. In addition, those who are laid off after March 15 and cannot get unemployment benefits legally will be paid 39.24 TL per day. The other items in the offer are as follows; In emergency situations such as epidemics, earthquakes and natural disasters, care will be given to the elderly who need it, regardless of income criteria, and the maintenance fee will be paid. The same right will be provided to the disabled, children and women.
