Occupying Israel's army radio announced that Chief of General Staff Herzi Halevi instructed military units to investigate the operational failures that resulted in the October 7 attacks.
THE INVESTIGATION WILL TAKE A FEW MONTHS
In accordance with Halevi's instructions, relevant commanders, including the army's directorate of operations, Southern Command, Gaza Division and Unit 8200 of the Military Intelligence Directorate, will begin investigations in their relevant units by the end of the month.
It is anticipated that the investigations will take several months as they will be carried out while the attacks on the Gaza Strip continue.
In a speech in November, Israeli Chief of General Staff Halevi stated that the Israeli army failed in HAMAS' attacks on October 7, 2023, and that everything would be investigated after the attacks on Gaza.
