However, while insufficient infrastructure and many problems cause students to fall behind from education, the latest figures make us shocked. While the number of students who follow distance education constantly remains at 37 percent, 67 percent of the students do not want distance education to continue.

In the period after the outbreak of Covid-19, primary, secondary and high school students continue their education from home. Students who continue their distance education via EBA or many other platforms established by the Ministry of National Education want the distance education process to end, according to a study based on TÜBİTAK data.

37 PERCENT OF STUDENTS IN STATE SCHOOLS FOLLOW THE LESSONS

According to the study, only 36.7 percent of primary, secondary and high school students attending public schools said they regularly attend classes in distance education, while 83.6 percent of primary, secondary and high school students in private schools follow the classes continuously.

79.5 PERCENT OF PRIVATE SCHOOL STUDENTS TAKE THE COURSE ON THEIR OWN SYSTEM

Many programs have entered our lives for education during the pandemic process, in which students can follow their teachers' lessons remotely. While 60.7 percent of students studying at public schools follow their courses through the EBA system opened by the Ministry of National Education, 79.5 percent of students studying at private schools participate in classes through the systems used by their schools.

LOW LEARNING RATES IN DISTANCE EDUCATION

In the study, which drew attention to the learning rates of students with "live education on the screen" that came into our lives with distance education, it was stated that 43.7 percent of the students who went to private schools learned lessons, while it was revealed that 31.6 percent of the students who went to public schools learned the lessons.

According to the research, while it was revealed that 26.2 percent of the students were not distracted during online lessons during the pandemic process, 62.1 percent of the students who access their lessons online in Turkey do not want the distance education process to continue.
