Saadet Party Istanbul Deputy and Deputy Group Chairman Bülent Kaya reacted to the situation in Van and called for a legitimate ground for those protesting.

Saadet Party Istanbul Deputy and Group Deputy Chairman Bülent Kaya, in his statement at the Turkish Grand National Assembly, said that they will evaluate the election results, evaluate the message given by the voters and continue their path with stronger and more confident steps.
 
"As Saadet Party, we of course read and try to evaluate the messages given by the voters. Taking these messages into consideration, we will continue on the path of service with stronger and more confident steps," Kaya said.
 

“AS SAADET, WE EVALUATE THE RESULTS”

 
At the press conference he held in the Parliament, Kaya said that the 31 March Local Government General Elections were held with democratic maturity, despite a few isolated incidents.
 
Stating that the nation elects local administrators for a period of 5 years, Kaya said, "As Saadet Party, we of course read and try to evaluate the messages given by the voters. Our evaluations regarding this will continue in our authorized boards and relevant political environments. Taking these messages into consideration, we will continue on the path of service with stronger and more confident steps."
 

“THE NATION IS TIRED OF CAMPAIGN AND POLARIZATION”

 
Stating that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized democracy in his speech on the election night, Kaya stated that the nation is now tired of polarization and polarization, and that instead of artificial agendas, the focus should be on the real agenda of the country, namely law, justice, economy and the establishment of regional tranquility and peace by solving the problems of the earthquake zone.
 

“LET'S STAND AGAINST IT TOGETHER”

 
Reacting to the Van Provincial Election Board's decision to consider DEM Party member Abdullah Zeydan as the Van metropolitan mayor "not elected" and to give the certificate of election to the second-ranked candidate.
 
"Our citizens will of course use their democratic rights on all legitimate grounds against unfair and unlawful practices. Our demand from them is to demonstrate their democratic reactions without ever deviating from legitimate grounds. They should not be deceived by internal and external groups that try to draw them into unofficial grounds. Let us, as the Supreme Electoral Council, the ruling party and all opposition parties, stand together against this judicial operation, which was literally conspired with judicial tricks in Van and only two days before the election, the candidate, the public and the voters were not aware of it, but it is clear what was intended to be planned after the election. Let's bring together a political process in which there is no more conflict and the rule of law and democracy operate in our Van, our region, our country and our geography," Kaya added.
