With only a few days left until the Eid Qurban, the citizens are thinking about how to do their shopping for the Eid, while the shopkeepers are worried about not being able to make the first sale of the day in the Eid due to the decrease in purchasing power. Turkey Tradesmen and Craftsmen Confederation (TESK) Chairman Bendevi Palandöken also drew attention to this issue in his written statement. Expressing that the shopkeepers are preparing for the Eid activity with great hope, Palandöken said, "This eid, all our shopkeepers, who serve in 415 professions, from our shopkeepers who adorn the dreams of children's eid outfits to their barbers, to our shopkeepers who prepare sweets that sweeten the mouths of the guests, are waiting for their customers ready for the eid."
BOTH SHOPKEEPERS AND ECONOMY NEED RELIEF
Making a call to the citizens, Palandöken added: "In this period when the pandemic is about to lose its effect completely, our citizens will not only do their shopping for the eid but also plan to go to their country for a holiday or to go homeland will contribute to the economy with the purchases they make from our shopkeepers by making up for their shortcomings. Let's do our shopping in this eid from our shopkeepers. Both the shopkeepers and the economy need this relief.”
