Terror regime Israel has been continuing its attacks in Gaza since October 7. Reactions to Israel's attacks in Gaza continue to come from all over the world.
Hundreds of doctors came together in Ankara to react to Israel's attacks with a silent march.
After the silent march, medical faculty student Abdurrahman Arslan read the declaration on behalf of the physicians, pointing out that Israel's attacks disturb all conscientious humanity and underlined that they condemn the attacks.
“WE BELIEVE THAT EVERY PERSON WHO HAS NOT BLINDED CONSCIENCE SHOULD OBJECT”
Pointing out that the attacks carried out by Israel have evolved to a different dimension, Arslan stated that Israel continues its attacks without complying with any international agreements.
"During the occupying Israeli operation, tons of bombs were dropped from the air, land and sea; Thousands of children, women, young people and the elderly were martyred. Thousands were injured; Some lost their limbs. Basic humanitarian supplies such as food, electricity and medicine are not allowed in or out. As physicians whose profession is conducive to healing and life, we believe that one of the duties of the medical profession is to prevent oppression. We believe that every person whose conscience is not dulled should oppose this situation in Gaza. We think that all humanity, regardless of religion, language or race, should meet on a common ground against the bombing of innocent civilians, temples and hospitals," Arslan said.
"WE WILL BE ONE OF THE THOSE WHO SCREAM 'STOP THE OPPRESSION'"
Pointing out that Israel's attacks have been continuing for 48 days, Arslan underlined that they are calling out on behalf of doctors.
"We will not take it for granted, we will not normalize it, we will not be digested! With patience and determination, as doctors, we will be the ones shouting against oppression! We would like to thank all our physicians who joined the silent march caravan today. We invite all physicians and healthcare professionals to join our silent march caravan", Arslan added.
