The conference on “Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean in the Political Energy and Power Equation” held in Cyprus.
Member of the Presidency Council of the Felicity (Saadet) Party and National Vision Organizations (MILKO) Secretary General İlyas Tongüç attended the conference as a speaker, while the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Assembly President Zorlu Töre was among the participants.
Addressing the people of the TRNC at the organization organized by the Love and Brotherhood Association (SEVKAD), Tonguç made important evaluations about the events in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Tongüç, who discussed the Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean struggle from various angles, "If you look at the issue only in terms of energy, it would be wrong. There is a situation related to the Greater Middle East Project here. Only in this way can we explain the fact that all the states of the world are here," he said.
Noting that the value of Cyprus is very high, Tongüç emphasized that a future in which Turkey and the TRNC should be shaped should be shaped.
