While the economic crisis turned the table of the citizens into a place of fire, it also started to show its effect in the Parliament. Things got mixed up in the MHP, the junior partner of the People's Alliance.

After saying "We cannot ignore the cost of living and inflation in Turkey", MHP Kayseri Deputy Baki Ersoy, who was asked to be expelled from the MHP, resigned from his party yesterday.

The pictures shared by the party leaders from the parliamentary seats the day before his resignation were recorded as “photos of the rebellion”.

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Kayseri Deputy Baki Ersoy made remarkable evaluations about the economy agenda in a television program he attended in his hometown Kayseri recently.

After his words became the agenda, Baki Ersoy was sent to discipline on the same day with the request of "definitive dismissal" following the instruction of MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli.

Ersoy, who was said to be expelled from the party, announced his resignation yesterday.

Photo of discomfort in the party

Message-laden photos shared by Baki Ersoy, who announced his resignation yesterday, and the party executives the day before, revealed the discomfort within the MHP.

MHP Deputy Chairman and one of the important names of the party, İzzet Ulvi Yönter, shared his photo with Baki Ersoy and a group of MHP deputies on his Facebook account, without leaving a note.

MHP Central Executive Board member and Gaziantep Deputy Sermet Atay also shared a photo of MHP deputies, including Ersoy, on his Twitter account.

The re-sharing of Atay's post by the Deputy Chairman Yonter also drew attention.
