While the reactions against the PCR test requirement, which started to be demanded from the teachers with the start of face-to-face training, continued to come, "Eğitim-Bir-Sen" educators union reminded that over 90% of the teachers were vaccinated and reacted to the PCR test requirement.

With the start of face-to-face education, the reactions to the PCR test requirement brought to teachers continue to come. Egitim-Bir-Sen, who reacted to the PCR test requirement requested from the teachers, reminded that most of the teachers were vaccinated and stated that it is a wrong practice to not take the teachers who do not have the PCR test to the classes.

"PCR TEST FORCING IS AN INCORRECT PRACTICE"

Reacting to the PCR test application requested from the teachers on their social media accounts, Eğitim-Bir-Sen stated that the PCR test requirement required for teachers to continue their classes will prevent face-to-face training.

"Face-to-face education is possible with teachers' attendance. It is a wrong practice that teachers who do not have PCR tests are not allowed to attend classes," it was stated.

"PCR TEST SHOULD BE AVOIDED"

Reminding that more than 90 percent of the educators were vaccinated, the statement stated that the PCR test challenge would not contribute to education.

"PCR testing enforcement will also not serve the goal of keeping schools open. Educators should be focused on their lessons instead of impositions, policies that would impair morale motivation should be avoided, and PCR testing should be abandoned," it was added.
