Ekrem İmamoğlu, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), addressed the citizens in Çorum.
"I'm asking this 21-year power. Is this the future you see for the youth of this nation? You have been in power for 21 years. Do you have a promise to make to the citizens of this nation, for God's sake? Agriculture is gone, livestock is finished. You make promises as if you came to power yesterday. Where have you been until now?" İmamoğlu asked.
Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu held a rally in Çorum. Addressing the citizens in Abide Square.

“YOU HAVE BEEN IN POWER FOR 21 YEARS, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN SO FAR?”
"I'm asking this 21-year power. Is this the future you see for the youth of this nation? You have been in power for 21 years. Do you have a promise to make to the citizens of this nation, for God's sake?" İmamoğlu asked.
“EXPENSIVE LIFE IS TURNING OUR CITIZENS' LIFE INTO A NIGHTMARE”
"I visit different parts of Türkiye. I listen to the citizens, I chat with them. Everyone has a word on their tongue; 'Life is too expensive'. The economy is getting worse. The price of something we buy in the morning changes in the evening. Our people are in abject poverty. Is it true? Everyone is below the poverty level. Citizens are thinking, 'Should I buy potatoes or even onions?' He thinks, 'Should I buy one, will I have enough money for two?' The food that enters the citizens' homes every day has become almost a luxury consumption. The country's economy is going down a cliff like a truck with a broken brake. Mothers and fathers are brooding. The cost of living turns the lives of our citizens into a nightmare. The youth, the brilliant youth who are now at the forefront of this community, are dreaming of leaving this country. Çorum is one of the cities with the highest number of immigrants in this regard. Families say to their children, 'Don't go, my child'. Because in this country, no one can see the future, hope; unhappy, hopeless. It's even harder for kids to imagine," İmamoğlu added.
