Republican People’s Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu made statements regarding the agenda. Kılıçdaroğlu, who met with the representatives of newspapers and televisions at breakfast, made evaluations about the developments in the last days.
Evaluating the assignment of the inspectorate for the alleged employee working with terrorism in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, which is the hottest item on the agenda, Kılıçdaroğlu said that there were rumors previously that ‘the members of the terrorist organization will distribute the water bills’ for Mansur Yavaş.
"Criminal records are taken for all workers admitted to municipalities. Power members know this. They say ‘I said it, it's done," he said.
11-ITEMS EXCHANGE RATE QUESTION
Kılıçdaroğlu stated that they are carrying out a study on the process related to the fluctuation in the foreign exchange and that they will submit a research proposal to the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on who gains in lowering the exchange rate, and said they expect the government to say yes to this.
In 11-items questions, Kılıçdaroğlu gave the explanations of the actors regarding the process, claimed that some circles were aware of the decrease in the dollar rate, and that they were protecting themselves, but that the small investor was unaware of this process and made a loss.
“MIDDLE EAST PEACE AND COOPERATION ORGANIZATION WILL BE ESTABLISHED”
Making evaluations on foreign policy, Kılıçdaroğlu stated that they are also working on a subject that closely concerns the countries of the region. He also said that a structure called "Middle East Peace and Cooperation Organization" will be established in order to establish peace in the Middle East, and that Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria will take part in this structure.
“FAMILY SUPPORTS INSURANCE WILL BE BROUGHT”
Defending that the government manages poverty but does not end it, Kılıçdaroğlu stated that there should be a strong social state understanding in order to eliminate the injustice in income distribution.
"Every family will be paid at least the minimum wage. This will be credited to the women's account. For these families, in public employment, positive discrimination will take place. Every home must have an insured person. Family supports insurance is an area that has been accepted before," he added.
“FIRST, THE GOVERNMENT WILL REDUCE THE PRICE”
Saying, "We are a political party that favors economic stability," Kılıçdaroğlu stated that he pointed out that price stability is the duty of the Central Bank, in the body of Presidency price stability board is established but it never convene.
“There is no mechanism to ensure stability. The institution in charge is also paralyzed. Currencies going up or down… Exchange rate volatility prevents investors from seeing the future. Orders are waiting, investments are waiting. Electricity and natural gas prices are not falling. Prices do not fall, but the government does not reduce prices either. Government says to the tradesman, ‘why don't you lower the price?’ You're going to reduce the prices first," Kılıçdaroğlu added.
