While the work on the increase in the minimum wage gradually became clear, the bosses who were at the table and shouldered the burden gave the green light to the wage increase.
The bosses, who called for the meeting of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, called for the state to shoulder a part of the burden on the increase in question.
In the statement made by the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TİSK) Board of Directors, "In a possible meeting to be held on the evaluation of the minimum wage, we will definitely be at the table representing the employer side and we will share our views with our total benefit-oriented works,"
It is also noted that the association would support the second increase in the minimum wage.
"TÜRK-İŞ" AND "HAK-İŞ" ALSO DEMAND THE COMMISSION TO CONVENE
Ergün Atalay, Chairman of the "Türk-İş" Confederation, who represents the workers' side at the table, stated that a second increase in the minimum wage was necessary.
The Confederation called for the meeting of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission. The same call came from another workers' confederation.
"Hak-İş" Confederation Chairman Mahmut Arslan stated that the 50 percent increase in the minimum wage at the beginning of the year evaporated.
"Workers should be protected against inflation and their losses should be compensated. For this reason, the Minimum Wage Determination Commission should convene as soon as possible," he said.
