Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) continues to mediate employment in order to protect and increase employment, improve the professional qualifications of the unemployed, reduce unemployment and bring groups that require special policies into the labor market.
In this context, 87 thousand 441 people, 53 thousand 204 men and 34 thousand 237 women, were placed in jobs across the country in November. The number of people İŞKUR mediated for job placement in the period from January 1 to the end of November reached 1 million 98 thousand 771.
195 thousand 210 job openings were submitted to the institution by employers in November. The number of open job applications received by İŞKUR from employers in the January-November period was recorded as 2 million 465 thousand 682. 98.8 percent of open job applications came from the private sector.
By sector, the highest number of open job applications were made in the manufacturing sector with 1 million 56 thousand 81. The manufacturing sector was followed by wholesale and retail trade with 315 thousand 910, administrative and support services with 302 thousand 935, accommodation and food service activities with 225 thousand 623 and construction sectors with 157 thousand 792.

The top 10 professions with the most job vacancies in the January-November period have also been announced.
The professions in which employers make the most requests to İŞKUR regarding personnel recruitment are listed as private security guards, sales consultants, tourism and hotel management personnel, waiters, garment workers, department clerks, machinist (sewing), other manual manufacturing workers, market personnel and retail sales personnel in the field of food.
In the January-November period, the highest number of job placements took place in these professions.
