Following the decision to "increase dialectically", which President Erdogan visited in Brussels last month, the "Political Dialogue Meeting at the level of Turkey-EU Ministers" will be held today. Turkey-EU relations, which are said to have come out, will continue despite the EU's "unwillingness" attitude and its failure to fulfill its responsibilities. Turkey, which says that the EU is defying the membership process, is in trouble and will seek to increase the dialogue with the EU again.

Following the visit of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Brussels last month, the speedy negotiations between Turkey and the European Union (EU) will continue today with the "Ministerial Level Political Dialogue Meeting". The meeting to be held in Brussels will be attended by Foreign Minister Mevlüt Cavusoglu and EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik. The meeting will be hosted by EU High Representative for External Relations and Security Policy / Vice President of the EU Commission FedericaMogherini and EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn responsible for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations. The EU is playing with us ...

Cooperation will be discussed at the meeting, negotiation process, immigration, visa liberalization, economy, energy, trade and fight against terror. Turkey will also demand that the consensus signed on 18 March last year be "passed on by the EU." Following the agreement signed on 18 March last year, while Turkey fulfilled its obligations on the reclamation of migrants; The EU did not adhere to its obligations on visa liberalization, financial aid, resettlement, Customs Union issues.

UNCERTAINTY IS FITTING WITH EU

Finally, during President Erdoğan's visit on May 24th, there was a mutual understanding between Turkey and the EU about "revitalization of relations". Despite the numerous statements to date that Turkey can not become a member of the EU and the double standard maintained by the EU in full membership negotiations, Turkey has not waited since 1963. The essence of the word; The process goes to the EU, which does not want Turkey, but makes concessions with this opportunity.

18TH MARCH RECONCILIATON AND AFTER

Following the agreement signed between Turkey and the EU on 18 March last year in order to control the deaths and to prevent irregular migration in the Aegean Sea, Turkey fulfilled its obligations regarding the withdrawal of migrants and reached for the purpose of reconciliation. However, the EU did not adhere to its obligations on visa liberalization, financial aid, resettlement, Customs Union issues. As a result, there was no distance from the subjects that were signed for more than a year. Lastly, President Erdoğan met with President of EU Council Donald Tusk in Brussels and Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the EU Commission, who attended the NATO Heads of State and Government Meetings on May 24th, and the importance of the revitalization of relations, The necessity of strengthening the business alliance in the fight against terrorism was mentioned.

NEGOTIATION PROCESS TO TURN ON

On 18 March, the parties confirmed their determination to resume the negotiation process, but the technical preparations made by the EU for the 24th chapter on "Judiciary and Fundamental Rights" and "Chapter 24 on Justice, Freedom and Security" were not completed in Turkey's EU accession negotiations. One of the most important elements of the Covenant was the withdrawal of visa liberation at the end of June 2016. The June 1 date for the Revert Acceptance Agreement was maintained. In order for the visa liberation to start at the end of June 2016, the EU Commission had to submit the third and final visa progress report and the visa liberal proposal to the EU Council and the European Parliament no later than the same year in the same year. Therefore, the items registered in the Road Map would have to be covered by Turkey until the end of April. The necessary studies were carried out in this direction. However, no progress has been made on the subject.
