While the "Commemoration of Prof. Dr.Necmettin Erbakan and Martyrs' Night" program organized by the Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) Balıkesir Branch was held with great participation, AGD-National Youth Foundation (MGV) Chairman Salih Turhan made a speech about the importance of martyrdom and the struggle of Erbakan Hodja. Turhan also opened the AGD Susurluk district representative office after the program.
“MAN LIVING WITH THE PRIORITY OF THE HEREAFTER CARRIES MARTYRDOM IN HIS CHEST”
AGD – MGV Chairman Salih Turhan stated that the footprints left by the martyrs have followed by many generations for centuries and said, “If we want martyrdom, we have to live a life with priority in the hereafter. The person who lives in the hereafter carries the paradise in his chest. What he carries in his chest will be granted to him when the place and time comes, with the permission of Allah. Many brave men led us on the path of martyrdom. Not because they take part in the defense of a race or a region, but because of the truth against falsehood, justice against oppression, truth against blasphemy. They were martyred because they sided with the truth."
“ERBAKAN HODJA’S STRUGGLE WAS AGAINST THE GLOBAL SYSTEM”
Emphasizing that the late National Vision (Milli Görüş) Leader Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan's main struggle was against global mentalities, “Erbakan Hodja left indelible traces not only as a political party leader, but also as a leader of a social movement. He was fighting not with his political rivals in Turkey, but with a global mechanism. The establishment of such a wide network means that the National Vision movement has adopted an unlimited and total struggle against both the national system and the global system,” Turhan added.
“ALL THINGS ARE MADE FOR CREATING A POWER AGAINST GLOBAL POWER”
Stating that Erbakan is making an effort to continue on the road with a re-formation against all the closed structures, Turhan stated that he saw these systems as a power against the global system. Turhan said, “Every party, association, foundation and union that was closed or banned should be replaced by a new one. It is for the purpose of establishing a power against the national and global system, establishing the establishment of the party and bringing the party organizations down to the neighborhood, opening them to all age groups, men and women, and keeping them within. According to Erbakan, this power is the power of the organized people. This is one of the most important features that distinguish the National Vision movement from other parties in Turkey.”
“NATIONAL VISION IS THE CONSCIENCE OF THIS GEOGRAPHY”
Emphasizing that Erbakan Hodja means conscience first and foremost, Turhan pointed out that the National Vision case is the conscience of this geography. “The effort of our Erbakan Hodja was to be instrumental in the establishment of all rights and justice. We know that the weak only can want justice and wish. The way to establish justice is to be strong. For this reason, our Erbakan Hodja gave importance to material development as well as spiritual development. He made an effort for the industrialization of Turkey. A country develops by building a factory, not by selling a factory. For this reason, our Erbakan Hodja laid the foundation of a factory in every corner of the country,” Turhan added.
